PRECEPT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
WAS RAISED UP BY GOD FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF
ESTABLISHING PEOPLE IN HIS WORD TO PRODUCE
REVERENCE FOR HIM
.

Our vision is for such people to be exemplary followers of Jesus Christ, studying the Bible inductively, viewing the world Biblically, making disciples intentionally, and serving the Church faithfully in the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe every word of the Bible is God-breathed and given to man as all that is necessary for him to become mature and thoroughly equipped for every good work of life. We do not seek to impose doctrines on others, but rather to direct people to the Master Himself, who leads and guides by His Spirit into all truth through studying His Word.

The Bible gives us a glorious picture of how the body of Christ functions
when believers are in a growing relationship with the Lord. We want to help
you actively engage your church in Bible studies that equip them to find their place of service and minister in and to their communities. We hope to partner with you in fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples who make disciples.

In keeping with the old adage of “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime,” our Bible studies are intended to introduce people to the inductive Bible study method so they can continue to feed themselves from the Word of God daily. In this way, they can grow in their relationship to the Lord.

But we’re also firmly convinced of the value of group Bible study, where “iron sharpens iron” and the body is edified as each shares what God has shown them in their study. We believe more is learned in group Bible study than individually. So we provide not just Bible studies for the individual, but Bible study discussion leader training and guides for small group discussion. We encourage each individual who has begun to study inductively to join a group and develop relationships not only with God through His Word, but with others.

These discussion group leaders are engaged in discipling others through the discussion group. And part of that process is to equip each member of the group to discover how they can make disciples, too, using the Spiritual gifts God has given them, and discerning a place of service in the body of Christ. So the goal of group Bible study is not knowledge, but application—making disciples who make disciples
