Discipling a traumatised generation

Discipling a traumatised generation

Can you imagine growing up in a country where an estimated 3,500 Christians have been murdered in the first 200 days of this year alone?

Where figures reveal that more people have been kidnapped in the first 6 months of 2021 than all of 2020? The majority of these being young women whose whereabouts still remain unknown.

This daily reality for many Nigerian young people is leading to a traumatised generation with hearts hardened and closed to the things of the Lord.

The Precept team in Nigeria is continuously looking at different ways to reach young people with the transformational power of the Gospel.

One way they are reaching university students is by running Precept Youth Conferences addressing relevant topics which are attracting both believing and non-believing students.

At this recent conference, 18 young people dedicated their lives to Christ!

God is using His Word at the conferences to break the bondage of fear and bitterness that many young people struggle with.  They are learning to know God more deeply and to live differently as a result.

Precious, below, was impacted as a result of attending a Precept Youth Conference and is now experiencing an intimate walk with the Lord like never before.

We would love for you to be a part of the work that God is doing amongst this generation.

A gift of R35 will: Provide one university student with their own Precept study book and training.

Won't you partner with us and help these young people grow to be multiplying and disciple-making leaders for God's Kingdom. What an impact!
